How to Find a Niche for your Blog

This step is a pillar of success for any blog. If you choose a good article, it is certain that your blog will be successful and its success will depend on your hard work. But if you choose inappropriate articles, then either you have to work hard to make the blog a success or in some cases, it may be impossible to bring traffic to the blog.

The following are some things to keep in mind when choosing an article for a blog.

Your interest and article reputation:

First of all, think of some articles in your mind. This article is of great interest to you because you will be able to write about it later. If the article is not of interest to you, then writing on the blog may feel burdensome for you later or other difficulties may arise. If you want to get content from other people on your blog, the article may not be of interest to you. After thinking about some articles, now let's see what is the most popular article among the articles you have thought of. Which article people like the most and which article people search the most on Google and other search engines. You can find out all this through Google Keyword Planner or by using other tools. Of course, the more popular and interesting your article is, the more traffic your blog will get.

Contest competition:

After selecting some popular articles, you now have to see if your selected articles can be easily ranked in Google and other search engines. If a lot of popular blogs have been created on the topic you are thinking of, then it is better to think of another article.
For example, if you create a blog on search engine optimization (SEO), it may be difficult for you to rank the content written on this article, as many popular websites and blogs have already been created on this article.

As well as thinking of a popular article, you need to see if you can easily rank your blog on that article. To see if there is more or less competition for the article you are considering, do a Google search for your article. Then look at the page rank, domain authority, and backlinks of the websites that appear on the start page of Google. Also, make sure that the titles of these websites match or differ from your article. If the titles of the websites that appear on the Google homepage does not match your chosen article, you can rank your blog. Suppose you have chosen Beauty and Fitness as the main article for your blog. Now do a Google search for the title. A fictitious title might look like this.

"How to treat pimples on face at home"

This topic, which I have fictitiously written, people search a lot and you have to write on similar topics on your blog so that more people visit your blog. Let's search this title in Google to see if there is less or more competition. We will search in Google for the title we chose some time ago.
---
You can see in the screenshot the results that Google showed when we searched the title “How to treat pimples on face at home” in Google. We will now look at the website at the top of the list, its main page rank, its backlinks, and the domain authority of the main domain of this website. Knowing all this, we can guess whether the competition for this title is more or less.

We can use different websites to see the page rank of the main domain. You can check out a lot of things on the website I'm going to create for you.

My favorite website is "moonsy.com". You open this website in your web browser. Open another tab “ahrefs.com” that we will use to check the links.

Go to the "moonsy.com" but you "Check Domain Authority" section and search in the checkbox by typing the domain of the website that came first in the Google results.

Also, check the same domain on "ahrefs.com" and see how many links this website has from other websites.

But just as you would check domain authority, you should also check page rank. After looking at the domain authority, the number of links and the page rank, we can estimate that you can easily bring this title to the ranking in Google

Domain Authority Check Page on moonsy.com

PageRank check page on moonsy.com

Links page to ahrefs.com

When we did a "www.top10homeremedies.com" search, which ranked first in Google for the title we searched for, the information we found about that domain was something like this.

Domain Page Rank: 4 The best value can be 10

Domain Authority: 38 Best Value
Number of links: 20,000
Facebook Likes: 2800
Google Plus Votes: 1800

This information suggests that the website that ranked first in Google search for the title we searched for is good enough, but not so good that it is impossible to get ahead in the rankings. This means that you can create a blog on such topics with a lot of hard work to make it a success.

Remember that the more links a website has to other websites, the higher its domain authority, the better the domain's page rank, the better its website ranking. In general, if the page rank of a website is less than the "6" domain authority 50, then such websites can be easily left behind in the head.

Now you have some idea how to choose a blog article. Remember that if you make a mistake in choosing an article, then you may have difficulty in succeeding in blogging.

If you can't decide which article will be best for your blog, then you can get help from someone else. Remember that a well thought out article is a guarantee of success for your blog.

Analyze performance in the blog

If you have a long-running blog, analyzing page performance can help you discover the most used and searched content, as well as visitor behaviour.

But why is this important? The more accessible content you know, the more content-based the content you can create and answer other users' questions.

There are two basic tools for this task, one of which is Google Analytics. To access this tool, you must have a Google Account, as all of these services are added to your Google Account and linked.

This method will show you the most viewed posts on your blog, the average time on your page, and the rejection rate.

The Google Search Console Tool includes the words you search for users to display your blog. To find out, select Search Traffic> Search Analytics> Consulting and it's done. This tool provides you with a list of ideas that drive the most traffic to your site and the number of successful hit movies per word.

In the Search Console, in the Pages menu, you can select posts as well as posts in Google and anyway. This information is essential for measuring the results of your SEO strategies.
